Emmaline R. Raybuck

Emmaline R. Raybuck, 86, of Coudersport, died Sept. 21, 2012 at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, N.Y. A native of Chicasaw, she had moved to Coudersport with her husband, George J. Raybuck, and family many years ago. He died in 1984. She was a nurse at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Eastern Star. Among survivors are two children, Helen (Mrs. Roger) Coffman of Columbia, S.C., and Robert Raybuck of Dubois. Burial was in Eulalia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society, Potter Unit. Arrangements were under the direction of the Fickinger Funeral Home, Coudersport.

Suzanne Bowen

Suzanne “Sue” Bowen, 67, of Galeton, died Sept. 20, 2012 in her home. She was a native of New Jersey. In 1975, she married George A. Bowen Jr., who survives. Mrs. Bowen served on the Pike Township Board of Elections for 36 years. Among survivors are her husband and two sons, Vincent G. (Kristie) Bowen of Galeton and Jon M. (Shanna) Bowen of Wilkes-Barre. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery, Galeton. Memorials may be made to the Patterson Cancer Center or the Goodyear Hose Company. Olney Funeral Home, Ulysses, was in charge of arrangements.

Alvin B. Miller

Alvin B. Miller, 92, formerly of Ulysses, died Sept. 20, 2012, in the Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wellsville, N.Y. Olney Funeral Home, Ulysses, was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Yorks Corners Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Penn-York Camp or the Yorks Corners Mennonite Church of Wellsville.

Ralph ‘Sonny’ Meloni

Ralph “Sonny” Meloni, 79, of Weedville, died Sept. 13 at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys. He was a son of Mario L. and Ruby (Taylor) Meloni. Mr. Meloni served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He also owned Meloni Tires in Weedville. Among survivors are his wife of 56 years, the former Neomi D. Walters; two daughters, a son, two brothers and two sisters. Barnett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Mary Louise Rodich

Mary Louise (Vought) Rodich, 87, a lifelong resident of Emporium, died Sept. 24, 2012, at Felt Manor, Emporium. Born Feb. 17, 1925, in Emporium, she was the daughter of Grant Stanley and Belva Leigh (Paul) Vought. On Nov. 27, 1948, in Emporium, she married James Joseph Rodich, who died in 2001. A 1942 graduate of Emporium High School, she was employed in the dental office of Dr. G.V. Burns, by GTE Sylvania and by Tau Electronics. Among survivors are a sister-in-law, Pearl Vought of Emporium; a niece, Barbara Vought (Mrs. Steve) Ostrum of Emporium; a great-niece, Rhonda Vought and great nephew, Philip Vought, both of Emporium. Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Newton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the public library in Emporium.
