Medical Center, Erie.

She was born Sept. 15, 1940 in Brookville, a daughter of Dorothy Love Fackender. On Sept. 22, 1960, in Emporium, she married Russell “Butch” Andrews.

Mrs. Andrews graduated from Cameron County High

School in the class of 1958.

Jane was a member of the Emporium VFW, where she freely volunteered for special functions. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Jane loved to cook, volunteering for many youth outdoor activities such as the Drum & Henry Fishing Derby and many other youth outdoor activities at the Andrews farm, as well. She was also the cook at grandpa’s camp in Salt Run.

Surviving are a daughter, Heather (Mrs. Brian) Kite; a son, Randy Andrews and a son-in-law, Peter Slottje, all of Emporium. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Amanda Dempsey, Daniel Slottje, Nicholas and Amber Thwing, and Blake Andrews; and a great-grandson, Hunter Dempsey.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her husband on Aug. 1, 2012, a daughter, Shelley Slottje, on Nov. 2, 2012, and a sister, Thelma Hornung.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Alliance Church on Sizerville Road in Emporium on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 11 am, with Rev. Mark Conklin officiating. Burial will be in the Portage Township Cemetery, Gardeau.
