Fire and ambulance services across Potter County recently received a shot in the arm to help their volunteers receive mandatory and optional training in firefighting and other aspects of public safety. A $10,000 grant was presented by the Potter County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), to be distributed to local agencies. LEPC chair Helen Turner made the check presentation to Frank Kaziska of Roulette, president of the Potter County Emergency Services Council.
