Bova, Tuttle AML wrestling all-stars

Coudersport’s Kyle Bova, Forest Tuttle and Cody Bova were among 19 boys picked for the Allegheny Mountain Wrestling League All-Stars, chosen by coaches from all of the league’s teams.

Kyle Bova came up just two points short of a state championship at 152 pounds. He joined Nick Budd of Port Allegany (285) and Evan DeLong of Kane (160) in sharing the Allegheny Mountain League Outstanding Wrestler Award.

Tuttle was recognized as the top 182- pounder in the league. Cody Bova was the all-star pick at 138.

Other all-stars were Jake Wichert and Sam Colebert, both Oswayo Valley; Alex Gular, Trent Neal, Casey Vollmer and Sam Kysor, all Port Allegany; Kyle Lightner and Trent Neely, both Smethport; Cody Blankenship, Joe Geslick, Darren Brown and Nate Moore, all Kane; Jake Abrams, Smethport; and Alex Zimmerman, Johnsonburg.

Port Allegany’s B. J. Greenman was named coach of the year.
