Retired Cameron County music teacher Sue Ann Beveridge returned to the conductors podium to lead the chorus at a reunion concert held last Sunday at the Cameron County High School auditorium. Former students from all across Pennsylvania and as far away as Alaska, New Mexico and Florida came to honor Beveridge and present her with a Lifetime Achievement award. Ron Tusing, himself a former Cameron County music instructor, was also on hand to accompany the chorus with his seamless piano playing. Tusing was presented with Hometown Mentors “You Make a Difference” award during the performance. A full house enjoyed classic rock and pop hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s performed by the individual performers, the 100 voice chorus and the Cameron County High School Marching Band.
