Robert C. Baker

Robert C. Baker, 56, of Emporium, died Oct. 6, 2016, at UPMC Altoona Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Port Allegany, a son of Donald and Martha Baker Sherry. In 2001, he married Raylene Baker. He worked as a parts manager at Stoltz Motors for many years. Among survivors are his parents; his wife; two children, Brian R. Baker and Kayla J. Baker; a sister, Rhonda Goss; and a brother, Lee Baker. Barnett Funeral Home handled arrangements. Burial was in Newton Cemetery.

Theresa Marie Tasillo Healy

A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa Marie Tasillo Healy of Port Allegany, formerly of Coudersport, will be celebrated at St. Gabriel the Archangel Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 at 10 am with Reverend James Campbell officiating. She died on Oct. 17, 2015, in Peachtree Corners, Ga. She was born in 1920, the daughter of Lawrence E. and Phoebe Leone Scott Tasillo. Among survivors are a brother, Lawrence E. Tasillo Jr. of Coudersport, and five children.

Arthur H. Leed

Arthur H. Leed, 83, of Westfield, died Oct. 6, 2016, in Green Home, Wellsboro. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Sherman and Lillian Levering Leed. He shared his life with the former Sharon “Sherry” White for 41 years. She and three children are among survivors. Olney Funeral Home, Ulysses, is handling arrangements.

Lane Jackson Jones

Lane Jackson Jones, infant son of Jack and Lindsay Reed Jones of Genesee, died Oct. 6, 2016, in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, N.Y. Among survivors are his parents; four siblings, Noah, Ethan, Caleb, and Liana; maternal grandparents Don and Karen Reed of Genesee; paternal grandparents Robert and Nancy Jones of Genesee; maternal great-grandmother Doris Reed of Genesee; and paternal great-grandmother Rae- Dell Pearson of Price, Utah. A private graveside service will be held in Genesee Cemetery. Olney Funeral Home, Ulysses, is in charge of arrangements.

Leslie Geelen

Leslie “Les” Geelen, 94, of Old West Creek Road, Emporium, died Sept. 30, 2016, in Emporium. Born in Rathburn, he was the son of Patrick and Jenny Skillman Geelen and was formerly married to Betty Spellenburg. A lifelong area resident, he was a 1940 graduate of Emporium High School. He held several positions with Sylvania and later with Sylvania/GTE/Phillips. He was a highly decorated Army veteran of World War II. He served on the Cameron County Board of Commissioners and as Shippen Township tax collector. He was also a board member for Guy and Mary Felt Manor. Among survivors are two daughters, Patti Kelly and Jean M. Sizer; a sister, Annabelle Bloomquist; and a special friend, Jean Ann Mitchell.

Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home handled arrangements. Burial was in Moore Hill Cemetery.
